Karl Plunkett goes by many titles. A Developer, who established successful building company, Australian Eco Constructions, in 1996. An Owner, specifically of Eco Beach in Broome where he first commenced working on the prototype Eco tents, and WABi modules. But above all, he is a Discoverer. When others ask, “Are we there yet?”, Karl asks “Where to next?”. With a motto of building for the future, Karl draws on more than 3 decades of building and construction experience matched with a proven ability to complete projects on time and within budget. Thus he understands the unique challenges of developers looking for cost-effective solutions based on environmentally sustainable principles.

 

For Karl, being a development manager is about seeing the world through the eyes of his clients and having complete faith in their concept. He has been the visionary and momentum behind many significant developments in the North West, including Derby’s first planned residential estate, Ashley Grove. Offering clients advice on the full scope of property development services, from site identification through construction of buildings and even management of completed investment properties.

+Lead large scaled Masterplan concept and design for mixed used development comprising residential, commercial and retail.

+ Co-ordination of the development & obtaining all approvals, consents, licenses & permits required for the design, occupation, and use of the development.

+ Managing the Tender process for the development from commencement to award.

+ Co-ordination and supervision of all aspects of the construction process.

+ Managing the development process to successfully obtain completion, practical completion and final certificates for the development.

+ Coordinate with the Marketing team in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

+ Drive and coordinate with the Sales team to achieve sales and revenue targets.
